The grand re-opening of the Newark Print Shop and the inaugural group exhibition featuring new work from founding members and artists Lisa Conrad, Jackie Cruz, Samer Fouad and Steve McKenzie. The exhibition comprises a variety of printmaking and film photography techniques and will occupy a brand new exhibition space. New Beginnings explores concepts of individual artist series and re-adaptation to work and/or living spaces after life altering changes.

In addition to the grand re-opening, live printmaking demonstrations and artwork salon style sale with work from local artists were on view.

According to Newark Print Shop, Founder and Executive Director Lisa Conrad, “The Newark Print Shop, with our weekly open studio print club, is a hub for community collaboration and we are so excited to open back up with new facilities and equipment to continue working within the vibrant Newark art community. We were forced out of our old space due to a fire, and are ready to open back up in our new location to continue our work in providing resources and workspace to local artists. A special thank you to Emily Manz for believing in our mission and assisting us with our relocation. We would also like to thank everyone at Brick City Development Corporation and RBH Group for helping us secure our new space.”
